General

Can I install Sculpture Qode themes on WordPress.com?

No, our themes will only work with self-hosted versions of WordPress. Before purchase, please ensure that you are using WordPress.org and NOT WordPress.com. You will need to have hosting, a domain name and WordPress installed on your website already before you can install any of our themes. We have a handy guide to help you set up your WordPress.org site.

How often do you release new products?

We aim to release a new WordPress theme every 2-4 months. If you join our newsletter, you will be the first to find out about our new releases and any special introductory offers we may have on new products!

How do I download the files after purchase?

Once your order has been processed and payment has been received, you will be directed to a page where you can download your theme files. You will also receive a confirmation email with this same download link.

What do I get when I purchase a Sculpture Qode theme?

You will get the theme files, the demo content files, the documentation files and your license key to activate the theme and access to our support.

Can I use a Sculpture Qode theme on multiple sites?

Unfortunately you cannot use one theme license on multiple sites, you would need to purchase the theme with a new license for each separate site.

What is the Theme Membership?

The Theme Membership gives you access to our whole collection of WordPress themes for one year as well as updates and support. You will also have access to any new theme releases. The Theme Membership is billed yearly with the option to cancel at any time.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit / debit cards via Stripe and PayPal. We take online payment security very seriously and do not store, or have access to, your credit / debit card details.

What is your refund policy?

As our shop sells digital, non-tangible products that cannot to be returned, we are unable to offer a refund after you have made your purchase. However please know we are here to help and happy to assist you with any pre-sale questions via our live chat or email us at themes@sculptureqode.com

Note: if you are having issues with getting our themes to function correctly you can raise a support ticket with us to help get the issue resolved.

Do you have any current promotions or discount codes?

Licences

What is a theme licence?

A theme licence allows you to receive all of the latest updates for your purchased theme and access to our dedicated support if you run into any issues or require some help. The licence will last for one year from date of purchase with the option to renew when the license expires. For more information on theme licences see here.

What is the difference between a regular and a lifetime licence?

A regular licence provides you with 12 months support and updates with the option to renew on a yearly basis, whereas a lifetime licence provides you with lifetime support and updates with no need to ever renew.

Support

How do I get support for my theme?

We provide support for verified customers (customers with a valid license) on our dedicated support site sculptureqode.ticksy.com. Here you can submit a support ticket and we answer them in the order that they are received, generally within 24 hours, Monday – Friday. Unless in certain circumstances, we do not answer tickets over the weekend or on UK holidays. You can also find help articles for your theme on the support site.

What does your support cover?

We are happy to provide support with:

  • theme installation
  • setting up your theme to work like the demo
  • answering questions regarding the theme’s features and customising options
  • General bug fixes

We are not able to provide support for:

  • theme customisation and modification (see our Custom Theme Development page for this)
  • issues caused by user modification of the theme’s code, styling or functionality
  • issues caused by non-inclusive third-party plugins
  • general WordPress questions and issues
  • issues relating to hosting or servers

Do you offer customisation services?

Yes we do! Simply complete the form on our WordPress Custom Theme Development page and we will get back to you with a quote within 12 hours.

Installation & Setup

What does the installation and demo content setup involve?

This all depends on what you require as we know that not everyone will want the demo content imported.

If you just want the theme installed we will:

  • Install and activate your purchased theme
  • Install and activate all the bundled plugins

If you want the demo content imported too, we will:

  • import all of the demo content which includes all the posts, pages and demo images
  • configure the settings to replicate the look and layouts used in the demo

Please note: it is not recommended to have the demo content imported on a site that already has existing content as this could disrupt your current site set up. The demo content is intended to be imported on a fresh WordPress site as a guide to help create your own content to look like the theme demo.

Can you set up my domain and hosting?

Unfortunately we cannot set up your domain and hosting for you, you will need to have this in place before we can complete the theme installation. However we can certainly guide you through the process of doing so. Take a look at our helpful ‘Starting your first WordPress blog’ guide which will tell you all you need to know about getting hosting, a domain and WordPress installed on your site.

How long does installation take?

Please allow up to 24 hours to have the theme installed.

Can you upload my content for me?

Unfortunately we are not able to upload any of your own content or transfer your content from an existing blog platform like Blogger or WordPress.com, however our documentation, articles and videos should make it easy for you to start publishing by yourself. And of course you can always leave us a support ticket if you get stuck.

Our Themes

Can I upload a custom logo?

Yes of course! Each of our themes allow you to upload your custom designed logo in the header via the customiser.

Can I change the fonts?

Yes you can. Some of our themes come with font options built into the customiser and others will require the Google Typography plugin. This plugin allows you to be specific about what text areas of the theme you want to change the fonts of. Please note, you will need to know some basic CSS to use this plugin. We have written a helpful blog post on how to use this plugin.

Can I change the colours?

Each of our themes allow you to change the colours of certain elements via the customiser with the use of a colour picker. For more specific colour changes, not included in the theme options, you will need a little knowledge of CSS to make any CSS customisations.

Are your themes compatible with WooCommerce?

Not all our themes are built for WooCommerce, however WooCommerce will install and work with all of our themes except there will not be any custom styling for product pages, checkout pages etc. Our Zennor theme however is WooCommerce ready.

Why am I getting a ‘missing stylesheet error’?

This message usually occurs when the incorrect file is being installed. On purchase, you will receive three different files, one of which is your theme files. You will need to download this theme file and, if it has become de-compressed, compress it back into a zip file. The file needs to be in a zip format to be installed successfully.

Can I remove the footer credit?

Yes, each of our themes has the option to remove the footer credit, although we would really appreciate it if you kept it there 😉

Why are my blog posts not appearing on my homepage?

If you have published posts but can’t see them on your homepage the likely reason is that you have a static front page set as your home page. You can change this via Settings > Reading.
